Email

Campus and District-wide communications are sent to the email addresses provided during the annual student registration. If you are not receiving these alerts, please contact the data clerk at your child’s campus to ensure the school has the correct contact information on file.

Parents, employees, community members or anyone interested in learning more about Frisco ISD are encouraged to sign up for additional informative newsletters.

District eNewsletter

A roundup of top stories, accomplishments and events. Guardians of Frisco ISD students are automatically enrolled in this email list during the registration process. Two emails per month.

Athletics

Learn about athletic achievements within FISD and upcoming events. Estimated one email per month.

Parent Engagement

Learn about initiatives, events and helpful resources available to parents from various FISD departments, including Guidance & Counseling. One email per month during the school year.

Text Messaging

FISD utilizes text messaging on a limited basis for a variety of timely communications, including school closures/delays. Enrolled families are encouraged to subscribe to text message alerts from the campus and District.

  • Text are delivered from the number 98900.

  • To opt into text messages, text “START” to 27806.

Podcast

Frisco ISD publishes podcast episodes on Spotify, YouTube Podcasts and Apple Podcasts. Episodes feature discussions on topics of interest to Frisco ISD parents, students, staff and community members.

Mobile Apps

Frisco ISD, TX

From work to home to school, our phones are a key tool to how we each navigate and communicate throughout the day. The custom-built Frisco ISD app makes it easy to stay up to date with district news and events.

Now, Frisco ISD is making it easier to stay in touch with teachers and class information from that same app. Using the Frisco ISD app you can easily switch from district and school information to Rooms where you can see your student's classes and engage directly with teachers.

With Rooms, guardians are able to:

  • View each student's class information, including announcements and materials.

  • Engage directly with teachers in two-way messaging.

  • Keep all communication in one convenient location ~ the Frisco ISD mobile app!

Home Access Center

Parents and students can download the eSchoolPLUS Family mobile app to access information from Home Access Center, which is best accessed on a desktop. This includes information regarding student attendance, grades, assignments and class schedules. It is recommended families not give their username and password to an unendorsed third-party app.

SchoolCafe

The Frisco ISD Child Nutrition Department utilizes SchoolCafe for menus, meal payments, free and reduced lunch applications and more.

STOPit

Frisco ISD uses STOPit, an online and app-based system, to receive anonymous reports regarding security, bullying or other concerns involving students.
