2025-26 Prekindergarten Registration

Información en español

Application

The majority of the pre-K registration process is done electronically and begins after April 1 each year. View a helpful graphic to help families understand the registration process.

Step 1: Check to see if your child is eligible.
Step 2: Complete the online registration form.

  • Make sure to put PK for the grade level.

  • Frisco ISD requires a parent or guardian to provide several documents as part of the registration process. Access the list of required documents.

Thank you for your patience as we process hundreds of families in the order in which they were received. Access the prekindergarten review process. Every child who qualifies will be provided a spot, and the District requests that you refrain from status inquiries.

Step 3: You will receive an email with the next steps once your application has been reviewed for eligibility. Please check your Junk or Clutter folders for this email.

  • Applications received April through May typically take a bit longer. Families can expect to receive an email beginning in late April and through the summer.

  • Applications received in June or later will typically be reviewed within one business week.

Students who potentially qualify due to a limited ability to speak or comprehend English will require a language assessment.

  • The oral language proficiency assessment will be conducted in person.

  • You will be emailed a sign-up link once your registration form has been reviewed.
